Vanessa Bell (1879 – 1961) was an English painter and interior designer, also a member of the Bloomsbury Group. She was the sister of Virginia Woolf, English writer and one of the most influential 20th-century modernist authors. Vanessa and her sisters moved to Bloomsbury and spent time socialising with artists, writers and intellectuals.
