Evening At The Iris Field by Timothy Easton

1943 Surrey, England. Encouraged by his father's passion for collecting paintings and his own keen interest in drawing, Easton decided to become an artist. It was during his studies in the 1960's that he won an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Award, that enabled him to travel for a year in Italy and northern Europe. Easton paints captivating landscape, architectural and nature inspired art in mesmerising colour and detail. In 1998 a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship allowed him to travel again to Europe, which influenced his richly coloured paintings.
